Think about this – When we sit down and compare ourselves with others, what do we feel. More often than not, it is a feeling of optimism and a sense of pride about ourselves. We feel better than everybody else. It's a good feeling, no doubt, but wouldn't we be on a different plane altogether if we were able to put such optimism into practice?

Around a month back, I wanted to buy a new model GSM handset ranging around Rs.15,000 from a Tele-shop at Hazaratganj, Lucknow. It was a Sunday afternoon.I thought I could leisurely choose my model and also understand the features it offered. The shop was crowded and a dozen salesmen were busy attending to 100 odd customers and each customer was shouting to seek a salesman's attention. The scene looked more like a Mithai shop on Deepavali than an Electronic shop selling high value gadgets.

WiMAX is a standards-based technology enabling the delivery of last mile wireless broadband access as an alternative to wired broadband like cable and DSL. WiMAX provides fixed, nomadic, and portable and, soon, mobile wireless broadband connectivity without the need for directs line-of-sight with a base station.
